In March 2021, Kansas City began transitioning to a new record management system for 311 requests, and has created a new dataset published under the name 311 Call Center Reported Issues: https://data.kcmo.org/311/311-Call-Center-Reported-Issues/d4px-6rwg.
This dataset will continue to be updated as departments close service requests in the previous system and will be maintained as an archive dataset after the system is no longer in use. |

From 2009 onward, they also capture permits for plumbing, electrical, etc. This results in higher dollar figures and numbers of permits for Additions, Alterations and Repairs and for New Construction. Cases are based on the date an individual was tested for COVID-19. Using date tested means counts for most recent dates are likely to change as tests are reported to the the Health Department. Cases include those without an address assigned to KCMO by MODHSS to investigate. Antigen tests are not included at this time. Deaths are based on the date the death was reported to the Health Department. Additional data available in the link below.
